The District Chief Executive for Obuasi East District Assembly, Honorable Faustina Amissah has led Chiefs, Assembly Members and Heads of Department to present the Assembly’s 2022 Budget on Wednesday 13th October 2021.
The event took place at Akrofuom District and involved two other Districts; the Obuasi Municipal Assembly and Akrofuom District Assembly.
The Hearing was organized as part of the 2022-2025 Composite Budget Preparation, the aim is to afford the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) the opportunity to scrutinize and guide the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) and ensure that budget allocations reflected the objectives and strategies of governmental policies, programs and are in line with 2022-2025 Budget Guidelines as set by the Ministry of Finance.
