Meeting Of Stakeholders On The Fee-Fixing Resolution In 2023

The Obuasi East District Assembly organized 2022 fee-fixing resolution to consult all the stakeholders on the taxes/levies to be paid in the 2023 budget year on 23rd September,2023. The meeting was held in accordance with the local Government Act of 2016, (Act 936) and the constitution of Ghana that mandates the Assembly to impose and collect taxes for purposes of development.

Participants deliberated and made recommendations to the officials on the possible ways to collect revenues in the district for development projects.

 In attendance were, Assembly members, Traders, Artisans, Landlords and representatives of Businesses.
