The Obuasi East District Assembly will organize a parade involving schools and identifiable groups at the Boete school park to mark 66th Independence Day Anniversary of the Republic of Ghana.
Twenty (20) Junior and Primary schools, two (2) Senior High Schools as well as 3 Cadet Corps from the District will take part in a March Past.

Hon. Faustina Amissah the District Chief Executive for Obuasi East will give the Keynote Address.
Hon. Dr. Patrick Boakye-Yiadom the Member of Parliament for Obuasi East Constituency is the Special Guest of Honor.
The general public is invited.
